What you need

Disassembling the Monitor

1. Disconnect the cables where indicated.
   

2. Place the monitor on a support so that the circuit boards on the back of the monitor are not damaged, and place the monitor with the screen facing upward.
   

3. Remove the bezel.
   

4. Separate the LCD board fixed to the monitor case, then separate the LCD using a Vacuum Lifter.
   Store the separated LCD on a flat surface where there is no risk of damage.
   

5. Remove the frame that holds the light diffuser.
   

6. Remove the light diffuser.
    

7. Remove the screws and parts where indicated.
   

8. Remove the reflector.
   Be careful not to damage the reflector as it is glued.
   

9. Disconnect the power cord connected to the LED.
   

10. Remove the installed LED.
    

LED replacement

11. Assemble the LED strips you want to replace and place them so they are aligned properly.
    You should have a total of 4 assembled LED strips.
    

12. Apply adhesive to the location where the LED was removed and then secure it in place.
    

13. Connect the fixed LED and power cord.
    

Assembling

14. Apply double-sided tape over the original taping marks.
    

15. Attach the reflector, then reassemble the parts and screws you removed.
    

16. Assemble the light diffuser and mounting frame.
     

17. Assemble the LCD.
    

18. Assemble the bezel.
    

19. Flip the monitor over, then secure the LCD board to the monitor case and connect the cables you disconnected.
    

20. Reassemble the SMT in the reverse order that you disassembled it.
